As if hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and local food wasn't enough, this slow adventure also includes a traditional Swedish Midsummer celebration!
Midsummer is one of the most beloved holidays for Swedes as they celebrate the summer together, eat herring and potatoes, and dance around the decorative midsummer pole.
We get to know the area's history, culture, and flora and fauna, and spend time gathering and preparing like the locals.
