Sara, our founder, made Lochaber her home over a decade ago and your kayaking guides are some of the first people she bumped into. As seasoned kayaking guides and a well known easy-going pair, Ben and Stuart have spent the past twenty years introducing folk to the beautiful turquoise waters of the west coast of Lochaber. They're firm believers in making kayaking available to people from all walks of life so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of being in nature and wild places. Over the years of working at sea, they have seen a huge increase in pollution and plastics. Remote coves littered with fishing nets. Plastic bags and rubbish left over from visitors and campers. By going to these places to camp responsibly, and engage with the sea in all weathers, we become far more aware of our impact and the importance to keep our seas and beaches clean beautiful for all.
We are proud to work with local partners and members who share our passion for slow adventure, sustainability and regeneration. Together with the local community we have identified a number of projects in Lochaber that you can support by booking with Slow Adventure.
